Place Based Giving - Explaining what it is!

I was asked to create a representation of the Place Based Giving project that London Funders https://londonfunders.org.uk/ fund. 

This is a wonderful initiative, giving local communities the ability to steer projects and fund projects that make the most impact, from business mentoring to supporting local food banks. 

The poster will be used to create more ripples around the work they do, and hopefully get more funders on board! Here's hoping!

A peek behind the curtain: as part of the commissioning process I worked with two stakeholders, there were several iterations and sketches with notes coming back and forth, like this one below before we decided on the final design.

Adult Family Group Conference Poster

Family group conferences are used to come up with a community/family plan, alongside the individual’s wishes. I was commissioned to give an example in the form of a story, so that professionals can explain the process to people in the community.

This was commissioned by Camden council, it was very much a collaborative process, we came up with the story together. Please click on and zoom in, it was printed at a large format to display as a poster.

Telling stories in collaboration

Just sharing some projects I've drawn this year where the client helped speed up the drawing process hugely, by sketching out what they wanted. That left me more time to respond using drawings because the brief was very clear.

This first one was for a public consultation on a new public space in Wandsworth, this was to tell the story of the project and next steps:
