Logo for Genetics Scientists, UCL

Before Christmas I was asked to create a logo to represent a science group called: Diversity in Genetics.

The logo is heavily influenced by the charts that are produced to display the results of genetic studies, they create quite a pretty 'pointilliste' pattern of dotted colours. I tried to echo this in the final design:

Climate Change Citizens Assembly - Herefordshire

A week ago I worked for Herefordshire council to capture the talks and discussions surrounding a Citizens' Assembly, subject: Climate Change.

Big subject, wide-ranging views and information out there - bottom line: we need to act NOW as Climate change is happening already. It may be a case of trying to limit the damage rather than trying to stop it going any further. It's got to be as urgently address as the recent COVID pandemic, it's that serious and the effects as wide-ranging.

With thanks to Sarah Fishbourne from Impact Consultancy for making contact and getting me involved.

A Covid-free Christmas and a Happy New Year!

This poster was commissioned by Merton council in order to keep the children and young adults of the borough safe and informed over the Christmas period of 2021-2022.

Please let me be drawing something else next Christmas! (All I want for Christmas is...health, happiness, and fewer face masks!)

This has been such a rollercoaster 2 years. But it's taught me to keep my head down and keep listening and drawing - and out of it all I feel like my practice and reach has actually extended.

I would NEVER have thought living through this situation would be a positive one, but it has helped me develop my practice, be more flexible, and become much more patient.

A Happy January to everyone, and all the best for 2022!
