Although this year's conference subject was domestic abuse, and the statistics make for pretty grim reading, it was a really inspiring week of meetings, because I was working with the Family Justice Young People's Board.
The FJYPB informs and supports the work done by Cafcass (Children and Family Court Advisory and Support Service).
Stories of resilience despite difficult circumstances, responses to the Harm Report and most importantly: practical suggestions that could improve the way children are treated during this stressful period of their lives, amplifying their collective and individual voices.
