Merton Centre for Independent Living - Poster of Trustees

Some more work for Merton Centre for Independent Living (CIL). This is a poster of the trustees. The aim of CILs is that they are run by and for disabled people. The aim of the poster is to make this fact visible and to shine a light on their work.

7 out of 8 of the trustees has a disability, they are all active vocal members of the local community in Merton, and their tenacity and strength always amazes me!

National Voices

I created these drawings for a recent campaign by the charity 'National Voices' to highlight the healthcare needs of people with disabilities and chronic illnesses in the current COVID-19 age.

Hopefully the report will help people get the care they so desperately need, and open up different conversations about the services people need to access.

More information on the campaign to be found here:

Live Scribing in London

This week's live scribing job in full, followed by all the various 'parts' of the scribe. I've found that as I'm working on an A4 sized tablet these days it's easier to work 'with' rather 'against' this format and collage the smaller pieces together at the end of the job.

Fascinating talks by Craig Barlow and Dez Holmes on adolescent vulnerability. The hardest thing is to be as nimble and adaptive to our current situation as the people trying to groom vulnerable young people.

Merton Centre for Independent Living

Some recent work for Merton Centre for Independent Living. 'CILs' exist to assist the deaf and disabled community, and are co-run by and for members. The first centres started in the 1980's in different parts of the country.

This poster is to explain to members and the public the financial side of the centre, in a fun and engaging way.
