Commuter faces

I'm often sitting on a suburban train heading into London. And there are many others like me on these trains, sitting, reading, dreaming, talking on their phones. Need to try creating a pattern out of these faces, a human behaviour pattern.

Sketch

I keep looking back to this, maybe because there is a lot of peace in this drawing, despite the missing 'piece'.

Work horse - work ass

Idea for another printed tote bag - need to get back to the screenprinting studio in Brixton, missing the smell of those toxic chemicals !

May flies

Just as a reminder - spring will be here eventually, in its own time !

Screen printing on fabric

Over the summer (oh how long ago that feels!) I did some screenprinting on fabrics, and also a workshop on the repeat printing technique. The handkerchiefs I have been selling through: http://www.lookmumnohands.com/

Simple Man

Have been looking at some old and new drawings, this is an old one, and it makes me think about the simple pleasures. So he's eating, but he also looks like he's flying away on his table-for-one.
